I wouldn't be surprised if Liberty Mutual did this on purpose to make people notice the commercial. Similar to cable providers increasing the volume when commercials come on. Insert a high pitched or cackling noise to get your attention.

Your comparison here isn't even remotely fair. The S90 listed for $1,199 was in a single store in New York that isn't carrying them any longer—it's disingenuous to throw this out there when 99.5% of people had no chance of buying one.

There will obviously be rare occurrences where a TV on a random shelf at some store in the country is sold for less, but it doesn't support your argument unless it's available to everyone.

If you're using an appleTV, Settings > Video and Audio > Audio Format > Change Format > turn on Dolby Digital 5.1

Found that on Reddit and it stopped the high pitch sounds. Still no clue on the cause.

I hesitated initially, but went for one after the membership requirement dropped off. Upgrading from a 65" C2, so it's a nice bump up, just hope I don't regret it.

I have this TV. It's nice but wish I had the g3 instead for the flush wall mount capability. Mine is wall mounted as flush as possible. They recently added built in Chromecast. Great TV.

maybe we should exchange. just installed the G3 65" yesterday on a mobile tv stand. didn't care for the stupid LG "excuse" for not including base. i heard BB had open-box G3s for that reason. LG learnt their lesson with next iteration I think.

Dumb take. Having a flush wall-mount is more suitable for the G than a cheap janky stand
