I wouldn't be surprised if Liberty Mutual did this on purpose to make people notice the commercial. Similar to cable providers increasing the volume when commercials come on. Insert a high pitched or cackling noise to get your attention.

Your comparison here isn't even remotely fair. The S90 listed for $1,199 was in a single store in New York that isn't carrying them any longer—it's disingenuous to throw this out there when 99.5% of people had no chance of buying one.

There will obviously be rare occurrences where a TV on a random shelf at some store in the country is sold for less, but it doesn't support your argument unless it's available to everyone.

If you're using an appleTV, Settings > Video and Audio > Audio Format > Change Format > turn on Dolby Digital 5.1

Found that on Reddit and it stopped the high pitch sounds. Still no clue on the cause.

Tempting with that 10% off. But hard to pull the trigger when costco in some areas are marking down the b4 83in to 1299. I feel like holding out but don't want to miss out on the 77 too. Hard choices

I'm on the fence need some help. I have a s90d 77 about to get shipped from samsumg directly, paid 1900. Keep coming back to this, at 1500 is tempting. I do watch tv during the day, can make up for the lack dts/ dolby vision with my av receiver and streaming device. The s90d just looked so much better at the store compared to the c4 even...like, a lot. Believe the store light being on had something to do with it. I mainly watch youtube/netflix 50%, 40% movies and 10% football live tv. Any insights? I'm seriously thinking about ordering both, but returning something this big must be a pita

I bought this tv during the cyber Monday sale at $1499. It is a great looking tv, but I have one complaint. During certain tv commercials (liberty mutual is one of them), there will be a high pitched sound for about 5 seconds from the tv speakers. It never fails for these commercials. I have yet to find a resolution to this problem.
use an external speaker

I don't get this Burn in issue I have 4 LG OLED TVs c1 series and up so I can't comment on the early models which were more susceptible to burn in . But I believe you have to be an idiot to get burn on a newer model today. Maybe have your brightness up to 100% and turn off all the safety features. If you leave your Tv on 24/7 and watch nothing but CNN I could see maybe a warranty. A 300.00 warranty on a 1499.99 tv is crazy. My original 55inch C1 has 20000 hours and a lot gaming and YouTube and movies and sports. It looks just as good as my 55inch c3 and tbh I can't tell any difference between the 2 considering the C3 can get brighter. I also have a 42 c3 on a computer and just bought the 77 inch 1499.99 deal and I'm just waiting to mount it this weekend.
I have a C6 that people still can't believe is 8yrs old. With tweaked settings, it still looks better than majority of TVs today

I have 10X miles in capital one offers - not 10% off or 10% cashback. I consider 10X miles as same as cashback because of the way I redeem it.

Got the B4 for $1415 on eBay. This C3 comes out to $1620. Should I jump on this. Not sure if the difference is worth $200.

Got it then too and am still tinkering with settings. Use rtings.com as a starting point. Note that you need settings for sdr, hdr and dolby vision.

Make sure eco mode is shut off which kills brightness. The biggest change for me was lowering color temperature from Warm 50 closer to Warm 20-30. 50 was just too yellow for my taste, especially when watching sports in sdr. Motion settings I have real cinema on and trumotion custom (judder 5, blur 0).

I was initially frustrated with the brightness when I first bought it and was upset I went oled. Then I realized most modern movies are just so dull color/brightness wise. I put on Furiosa and Pacific Rim and the colors/brightness are great.
Pacific rim on an oled is amazing. Makes you wonder why Del Toro didn't sign on for the 2nd one

Looking into how C3 compares to B4 which seems to be the similar display retails are trying to dump stock of. This side-by-side doesn't highlight any important details, does anybody else have insights or experience to share?

I think the main difference is the processor (C3 A9 AI Gen6, B4 Alpha 8 AI), which will give better upscaling quality and performance. The B4 is a current model, the C3 is a year old.
I like the stand much better on the B4. The bulky center mount stand on the C3 is heavy, prevents it from being placed close to a wall and a soundbar can't be tucked underneath. I hope they reverse this trend soon.
From the pics in that comparison, the C3 looks sleeker and of higher build quality, which is to be expected.

News to me, does Apple TV support Dolby and HR10 content ? I currently connect my via e-arc to my av receiver. I quite like this set up
Apple TV 4K is built to take full advantage of 4K HDR so you can enjoy TV in the highest quality ever. Apple TV 4K supports the following 4K display formats:
4K Dolby Vision: Used for 4K TVs that support Dolby Vision HDR to display video dynamically, on a scene-by-scene basis, and with an even more accurate range of color, contrast, and luminance than standard HDR.
4K HDR10+: Used for 4K TVs that support HDR10+ to display video dynamically, on a scene-by-scene basis, and with an even more accurate range of color, contrast, and luminance than standard HDR.*
4K High Dynamic Range (HDR): Used for 4K TVs that support HDR to display video with a broader and more accurate range of color, contrast, and luminance than SDR.
4K Standard Dynamic Range (SDR): Used for 4K TVs that don't support HDR, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision to display a standard range of color, contrast, and luminance.
* HDR10+ is a supported format only on Apple TV 4K (3rd generation).

Ordered it with the PayPal/Discover $60 cash back and also saw there was 5% cash back through PayPal. I wanted to buy a $250 gift card to take advantage of the Amex $25 off $250, but gc's aren't eligible. Hopefully everything works and makes this a great deal, plus no sales tax in DE. Thanks OP!
Hi. Where are you seeing PayPal/Discover $60 cash back and 5% cash back through PayPal?

I got an email from Discover on 12/11 saying I could get 6% back on up to $1000. You just have to add your Discover card to your PayPal account. The PayPal 5% shows on the offers screen in my PayPal acct.
