I wouldn't be surprised if Liberty Mutual did this on purpose to make people notice the commercial. Similar to cable providers increasing the volume when commercials come on. Insert a high pitched or cackling noise to get your attention.

Your comparison here isn't even remotely fair. The S90 listed for $1,199 was in a single store in New York that isn't carrying them any longer—it's disingenuous to throw this out there when 99.5% of people had no chance of buying one.

There will obviously be rare occurrences where a TV on a random shelf at some store in the country is sold for less, but it doesn't support your argument unless it's available to everyone.

If you're using an appleTV, Settings > Video and Audio > Audio Format > Change Format > turn on Dolby Digital 5.1

Found that on Reddit and it stopped the high pitch sounds. Still no clue on the cause.

You would need LG partner store account (through work email or first responders). I think the only concern is that returning to Bestbuy (if anything goes wrong) would be easier than LG.

LG seems to have a tremendous amount of stock on the BCG3 models. Just blowout price after blowout price all year long. Even the 4's. Wish Sony would get serious about selling TVs

Last week I saw the s90d on display at Costco and my wife who is not into TVs and can't notice much difference between them pointed out to me at the store that the panel on the s90d looked warped/bowed out. Not a good sign.....

Not sure if Samsung direct has restocking fees on tv returns and if I should risk it or play it safe with the c3 since my c1 has been great

Common issue with the Samsung QD OLEDs. Doesn't impact performance but yeah the warping is kind of eh. On the plus side the QD panel uniformity is usually good but it's strapped to a Samsung TV with Tizen and reported bugginess so again eh.

Just tried for like an hour to get 10% C1 and 5% PayPal to stack and it just wouldn't work. I think C1's stupid purchase verification breaks PayPal. Ended up just doing the 10% C1.

As (good?) luck would have had it, my 10-year old 60" Samsung plasma power supply died this evening (10s blinking red light of death). The original power supply I replaced 3 years ago, almost to the day, and I took this as a sign from the OLED gods it's not worth replacing again. I've had my eye on a 77" LG OLED for a few years but could never justify pulling the trigger since the majority of my content was 1080p, the plasma still looked so damn good, and I'm a tightwad. $1500 for the 77" C3 was too good a deal to pass up.

I was really hoping I could have snagged a similar deal from Costco, with the extra 2yr warranty but for those who have a Chase Visa through Amazon, they are one of the few cards still offering an extra 1yr warranty on electronics. Costco stopped that benefit on their card a year or so ago.

Now, time to buy a bigger TV console! Damnit! :-)

I picked this up on the 19th and had to get the yearly membership. I paid $1926.09 out the door with delivery, wall mounting and yearly membership with delivery in San Diego. Do you guys think they would refund the membership after the fact? Amazing deal, Thanks OP!
