Very atmospheric games, I highly recommend. I'll have to check if I have the expansion missions for Exodus; if not, then will pick this up even though I have all 3 maybe three times over by now.

Worth every penny, first 2 are like resident evil style, more linear story, which honestly I love them, last one it's more like an open world base mix with linear story, in all cases if you don't have them, that's 100 hours worth of gameplay if you don't rush to finish the games on easy mode, otherwise rushing on easy mode I think it's 40 hours gameplay for all 3 games. Btw Metro 4 is being developed and coming soon.

I couldn't complete either of the first two games due to engine bugs. Every other 3D game I played around the same time worked fine so I know it wasn't my system. In both games the AI broke and the characters would just stand there and not shoot back and maybe die, maybe not when i shot them. i assume at some point this inability to kill enemies blocked progression. If they ever fix the first two, I'll consider picking up the sequels. It's a shame though they're conceptually great games and clearly s lot of effort went in. Quality assurance isn't wasted money, it's an investment in making sure what was done actually works.

I've replayed all three several times, Exodus by far my favorite!
