It has 6hrs additional battery life compared to M3 pro and app opening speed are much faster because of single performance.
And also display is brighter with QLED losing any battery compared to M3 pro
Only case I would suggest you go for M3 pro is if you're video editor working with multiple layers or AI development stuff (If you're in this category I would suggest to go for M4 pro unless you don't have the budget.)
Else M4 all the way
Try a few times, it does seem to be up to chance on the BB customer rep you interact with.
EDIT: One day later I actually got an email saying that I'm no longer eligible for a price match from a different service rep. I canceled the order and returned =[
I checked at Costco also, at least in NorCal area. Mostly out with with the exception of Napa where it seems like they still have some stock (~5)
