Silver: $800
Space Black: $1200
Same configuration. Crazy.
or, just go to PayPal .com / offers
search for Best Buy, should show 5% back, add the offer by clicking the plus sign.
From there, hit Shop, buy the laptop on Best Buy's site and at checking pay with PayPal. if you have a rewards credit card make sure the card you want to use is registered in the PayPal wallet first.
If you do not see the 5% back offer it could be account specific, I had it but it does not mean that everyone will. YMMV.
Damn it Slickdeals!!!!!
Knowing the m4 rumors). Personally, my answer is the same even at $1250. $1699 (15% off) is unprecedented for a 2 months old M4 pro.
Some on here hunt for deals on MacBooks, but buy 1500 iPhones at full price.

I run a lot of programs and I was running into "Memory" issues with the last one I had (m3 Pro 18GB) that I got earlier this year for $1499.
Like everyone on here said - really look at your use case. For me who runs heavy Adobe, Microsoft and Figma this made sense to me but for others they might not notice the difference.
Agree that this is a great spec for the money. But a little short of slickdeal.
Oh, I was planing to trade in my silver 14" M1 Pro for $550.
Apple edu will give 10% off their current price (that's what they do to "price match" a competitor). Currently $1849 on the edu site. With 10%, brings it to 1664. They're offering $870 for my M2 trade in.
~$800 for the upgrade. Any idea if I'll see noticeable speed improvements in LR?

Edit: I called Apple and they offered me 10% off on top of 1849 price but would not allow you to trade in and get the 10% off together. Either trade in or 10% off not both. Weird.
