- They paid a couple weeks after meeting the requirements - I didn't have to wait the full time.
- After they paid, I withdrew all but the $500 minimum no-fee balance with a bank transfer from my main checking account.
- After I closed the account, they mailed a check for the final $500.
- They provide a nice website for tracking progress against the bonus requirements.
- Review that expired post for answers to questions.
- My deal was different. There were fewer direct deposit requirements, but I had to use the debit card.
I got $800 from this deal. Account is closed and I no longer have access to the website.
Didn't get a 1099 in the mail for my account or my wife's.

If they filed a 1099 and I didn't get it, and I don't report the income, the IRS will ding me.
Calling truist to ask for a 1099 is a pain and risky. They might just file a second 1099 and make things worse.
