SAE & Metric, couldn't find an exact list

  • (91) Sockets
  • (3) Ratchets
  • (21) Wrenches
  • (44) Hex Keys
  • (66) Specialty Bits
  • (5) Accessories
Wish there was a carryable set that just included 2 of all the metric sockets and no SAE, very rarely use SAE and almost never where I don't expect to and can grab the one nice socket set I already own.

I go back and forth about whether or not I want this.

On the one hand, I've got a ton of the DeWalt Tstak stuff and it would be cool to have a mechanics set that fit right into that system.

On the other hand, the actual set isn't much to write home about.

Anybody actually own this and have thoughts?

How does this quality compare to the $99 Husky set? I'm pretty sure the $99 Husky is bottom barrel. I bought one to leave at my mother's house because when putting together tools to bring up, I would always forget to bring something or there was something unexpected, making the repair 2 or 3 trips when 1 would do.

66 bits? Way too much filler. Get the Kobalt set at Lowes.

I have this set and really like it. Solid and I appreciate the multiple sizes. The storage works well.

Has anyone used Lowe's lifetime warranty? Do multi-tool sets qualify if one tool needs replacing, and do they have single replaceable parts?

How sturdy is the case? I just want a case that'll last. Tools I can replace.

I replaced a ratchet from this set at Lowes with no questions asked. Easy

I have 3 of those husky sets and have had nothing but a positive experience with them as a secondary tool set. My primary set is all old Craftsman and new Tekton...

I have this and Ive enjoyed it so far. Coming from not having a tool set at all except a measly Stanley set with the absolute bare minimum in it.

I picked this set over the others because there were others saying if any of the tools go bad it's easy to exchange in the spot at Lowe's.

I also like that I can pull out a rack for a repair/assembly and just take that instead of lugging the entire thing. 90% of the time so far I just need something from the top rack with the smallest ratchet and screwdriver bits.

I'd buy it again as a gift for someone who doesn't already have a toolset.

Anyone know how well it works with the Craftsman Versastack cart system?

https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/1044654

I already own the tool set and was going to buy the cart for easy transport and storage of other tools. Any feed back on the quality of the Versastack interlocking is appreciated

Granted it's a decent bit more expensive (I got it for $154 a few weeks ago, currently $164) but the DeWalt 192 pc. mechanic set is killer, and I think the best available.
