This makes me slightly more concerned that Fandango could go under and disappear. In all likelihood, hopefully one of the other companies would absorb them, but who knows.

The other danger with digital ownership is that the rights to actually have the movies are something that is negotiated between companies every few years and we could end up in a situation similar to cable/satellite providers and Disney where you sometimes lose access to your ESPN or other channels while they fight it out. If say Warner didn't want to renew with Apple because they wanted a higher cut of revenue or whatever, conceivably, all your Warner movies and TV shows would disappear from your Apple library.

I enjoyed the 1st Jack Reacher movie but, to be fair, "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back" for 1¢ is still overcharging...

As they say, I farked around and found out! I hesitated on this deal (specifically, Justified) at $19.99 and it went to $29.99. I hesitated more, hoping it might return to $19.99, but found out when it went back to (its current) $99.99.
