There is a bit of confusion in this thread. Ryobi makes a 18V 320 PSI and a 18V 600PSI and a 40V 600PSI. The 18V 320 PSI really isnt that much better than a hose. You should skip it. The 18V 600 PSI version is the one to get if you want a portable pressure washer for light work, washing cars, furniture, windows, etc... The 40V 600 PSI has exactly the same output as the 18V 600PSI but is heavier and bulkier and is less efficient electrically.

It's a bit better than a garden hose- higher pressure and uses less water. I've used it for clearing gravel and topsoil out of a truck bed, washing windows screens/mesh filters, and caked mud off vehicles. I wouldn't recommend it for cleaning walkways/patios, fences, siding, or a foam cannon.

If you have access to a garden hose with a decent spray head don't even bother honestly.

Don't buy this for pressure washing applications. The 600psi model really struggles to clean most things well while draining batteries in minutes, I can't even imagine what a paltry 300psi would do. You might as well just use a hose attachment at that point.

The only real benefit is if you don't have a spigot nearby you can run this out of any clean water source (e.g. a bucket).

I got this. Don't waste your money on it. It is absolutely trash. .Water pressure on washing your car as weak as hell. It's 29.99 for a reason. It's in the backyard connecting dust. Have not you used it in years.

Head's up: I just bought the 600-psi version of this. Forums and YT videos state the older 320-psi version doesn't cut it for most things. Skip this. Also, get the 18V varant of the 600-psi version. It's been said the 40V variant has defects and breaks more than the 18V, plus, because of the huge battery attached to the 40V variant it's heavier to hold for wrist-twists and will not stand up when placed on the ground.

TLDR: Skip this. Get the 18V 600-psi version.

How long does one 18v 4A battery last for 600psi? I need it to wash a small SUV.

Is this powerful enough to do most jobs around the house?
Can it be hooked up to a garden hose?

I have this and it won't even clean the mud off 2 sides of a shovel with a full 2L pop bottle and the included adapter.
I bought it because I thought it would be good to bring a few 2L bottles of water where there isn't a hose, and clean mud off dirt bikes and quads, but it is not really good enough.

Bought 2 last time and promptly returned them. As others have said, not better than a garden hose.

I got the 600 version bc it was $50. Came with a battery and charger so I figured it was cheap enough.

I have the 18v of this (the 320psi in this deal) and the 40v version (600 psi) and invested in both systems.
Since you have both of these, I'd like to ask your opinion:

For years, I've had to spray fungicide into my crabapples each spring or else they'll drop their leaves by late June. My garden hose sprayer can't reach the top half of the trees so I've been using my gas pressure washer in low-pressure "soap injector" mode, sucking mixed fungicide out of a bucket instead of soap. This works pretty well and lets me hit all but the very top branches without me needing to spray straight up (and, thus, taking a fungicide shower).

Do you think one of these Ryobi sprayers could do the same thing? I'm not looking to shoot a 3000psi jet up into the trees. Just need to suck chemicals out of a bucket and spray about 30ft high while standing 10-15 ft away.

This is the way using the 600psi option.

There is also just a nozzle kit.

This is a good deal if you can't/don't want the 40v.
I wouldnt want to use 600 psi to clean my car tho
