Hmm…we've gotten a new member deal every year for probably the last 10ish years. Alternating between my wife I and haven't had any issues at all.

I did it from the Sam's Club app. From there, click on the Account tab and scroll all the way to bottom. It'll say "Request to delete online account". I haven't checked from their site.

Sams is great for the mobile checkout. Now they've implemented the overhead cameras at the exit door and the receipt checkers just waive you out, NICE! I'd like to shop at Costco but every day and every hour is a zoo inside.

We tried that before and it did not work for us. Even w/ different emails. Glad it worked for someone else.
Try chatting with member services and having your email phone combination removed before signing up. I just did that DEc 31 to signup with Groupon

Will Sam's accepts VISA?
Yes. Sam's club accepts most credit cards. Visa, MC, Disc, and Amex.

Costco has an exclusive deal with Visa.

Unlike others, Sam's will not honor a time away from membership as "new."
I was away for 11 months and still got the discount

I decided to try Sam's again about a year ago after dropping my Sam's membership many years ago for those reasons and others.
I found the stores to be even more crowded than I remembered. The receipt check lines at the door were also much longer, and the employees checking receipts seem much pushier about it (I used to bypass the line without them saying anything).

However, the Sam's I shop at installed machine vision exit arches during the past year that have dramatically shorted lines to exit the store. The exit arches and Scan & Go have made shopping at Sam's tolerable for me. If not for those two innovations, I wouldn't stay a member.

So, Sam's has earned kudos from me for at least partially solving two of the biggest problems with their stores. The corporate drones at Walmart who aspired to dream up and implement these innovations deserve a pat on the back and a raise. It's a shame the same can't be said about their Costco counterparts.
Sams to me feels like a "Bigger walmart" more than a "Costco alternative/replacement" -- My stores still have the receipt checkers at the exit and it's much more invasive than Costco (employees typically digging through your basket and then scanning 3-4 items to make sure you paid for them, but that's whatever), hoping my store gets the magical arch that gets rid of the receipt checks.

The store in general seems much more 'unkept' than Costco ever gets, with random stuff kind of all over the place and empty areas where stuff should be.

Scan and Go is awesome, definitely a huge benefit! ..Until you need to buy something that requires you to go to a checkout (like any alcohol or items that require someone to get it for you (like that $99 hard drive posted on here)) - the problem is with so many self-checkouts (a good thing!) and scan and go (another good thing!) the 1 or 2 checkout lanes can take 10-15 minutes because people are buying enough food to fill an underground bunker for the next 5 years. Then they try to shake you down for more money (Plus Membership for only $50 more today! Sams Credit Card, save $15 today! Warranty for your hard drive, otherwise it's only 90 days!)

It also sucks that you can't get free delivery on stuff from the website (which Costco does give you). Food court also isn't anywhere near as good as Costco.

On the other hand.. membership is super cheap during these sales and it's a nice alternative to having to buy 42 muffins at Costco or 6 at Walmart.. Sams sells a nice in-between quantity for a price less than Costco would be.

I'd renew again for $14-20, but any more than that is harder to justify. It didn't replace Walmart+ or Costco, but it's a nice option to have for once in a while. Some people seem to love it though
