A bit more than the previous deal after taxes+fees but similar overall.
I purchased it last time and consensus was that you need to purchase the silver plan at minimum to get this price. Only need to buy one month of service. Wait another 30 days (60 days total) then the phone will be carrier unlocked.
It's $40 higher than BF deal since this only needs $35 plan but the BF deal needs $45 plan.

An already active sim from a different phone will screw up the unlock & not actually activate the new phone.
Always use original sim that comes with phone to activate correctly - it's linked to the phone IMEI in the computer system.

Again, it's not recommended to just swap sim on TF. But sometimes I am just too lazy to do a "official" swap with BYOD sim.
