If anybody is curious mine arrived today and it is built like a tank! I don't know if Ill get around to start setting it up tonight, I'm waiting on some other parts anyway.
I do have a question for those that have one. I have a mini pc on the way. When that is up and running I'm going to pull the 500g WD black out of the old laptop that I have been using as a Plex server. Should I replace the stock ssd with the WD or use it for cache?

CPU for this nas is not that great. The difference between this Pentium 8505 and N100 is an additional performance core and some cache. Price is higher than a 4 bay synology nas when on sale. I'm still using a synology 920+ with plenty of diskspace and will probably upgrade in 3 years+.

I wanted to update. I just added a 3rd 10tb to get raid 5. Says it will take 2 days, I moved around 4gb to the pool before trying this. Guess we will see how it goes

Ugos uses raid. I have mine setup in raid 5

Yes, TrueNAS works well on it. I used TrueNAS a couple years ago on a different machine. It is extremely reliable but has a steeper learning curve than something like unRAID. I stopped because I needed to repurpose the case for a computer build. At that point I switched to Synology, which is solid, but eventually I needed better performance. When the UGREEN NAS popped up on Kickstarter, I got in on it. I considered TrueNAS, but really needed Docker containers. At the time TrueNAS didn't easily support Docker so I tried out unRAID and was hooked.

TrueNAS is a great option though.
