Don't know if matters to others, Amazon has similar kind but about 2Lbs, less weight. Matters to me as travel a lot Internationally & domestics Airlines have weight limits, Every little less weight counts.

This is too heavy for a 1 person backpacking tent. 5 lbs would be the weight of a budget 2 person backpacking tent. A really nice 2 person backpacking tent would weight ~3 lbs.

If you're new to backpacking, I would recommend that you go with an experienced backpacker (who'll have a tent). Or maybe borrow some equipment from a friend before buying.
