Why would you thumb down a deal that clearly says YMMV? Such behavior discourages others from posting items that may be available for some and not for others. Unless of course, you feel $1,999 isn't a good price for a $5,499 item, for those that can find it.

Bought 5 of them for my business all 5 broken with 6 months and no repair shop local that works on them which a waste of money I ended up buying Toro z turn replacements that have good customer service

Pretty sure if you ordered with a credit card Lowes only did a preauth and never posted the charge to your card. That's how it has been with mine. It shows as pending. In fact, they reauthorize the charge once a week until delivery/pickup happens. Only posts once the sale is complete.

Not true. Mine was pending until the "morning of delivery" and then it posted even though my mower was on backorder. It would've just stayed like that but I had to call and cancel the order.

Nope. I got my paper statement in the mail with all the charges and a due date of sometime next week. I ordered on the 11th and opened the card at that time cause they gave me $100 off

I don't know. I feel like everyone would be getting the same treatment if it truly was a recall by Ego. I even called lowes back to talk to them just in case I just happened to have a rogue employee who was trying to screw me over. If you all aren't getting a similar response about Ego recalling, I may have to go back to the store and confront them

All I'm pointing out is that there is a lawnmower made by
Spartan. I myself have never heard of this company. They do have Kawasaki engines. As far as the rest goes, don't know' don't care.

I ordered mine online on Sunday and it was delivered this morning, brand new with everything still in its original packaging. It's a tiny bit dusty, so clearly it was on the floor at some point. But it's definitely brand new and a smokin deal for $1,999.99 delivered. Definitely never stored outside like some people are saying. And I live in Indiana, where people are honest to a fault, so no shenanigans with people stealing batteries.

I ordered mine Tuesday the 21st in the first delivery date available was this coming Monday. This gives me hope! Mine still says preparing your order... Did your order status update at any point before delivery?
