A Visible # works fine for porting in. $5 for that after using a referral code found easily on Reddit. Google Reddit Visible referral.

I hope this is helpful for others to be well informed.

After activated, the 60-day unlock countdown begins and it should unlock automatically after 60 days pass. After the first month you do not have to pay for 2nd month if you do not want to keep their service. It will still unlock after 60 days.

I messed up and placed my order using a trial plan I got from Visible. Will this affect me from porting in? Should I pay for the first month's plan on visible to avoid any issues?

You can port out ahead of time, and the phone should still unlock after 60 days. Just do the port out before your first month ends so they don't cut off access to porting it out.

How do I get the $50 auto-pay rather the $55 I am currently charged in my cart? I've read the entire thread multiple times, I go to my account, I am new to TW, I've clicked around and don't see how as a new customer I can elect into auto-pay. Would prefer to save an add'l $5 if this comes back in stock. Thanks in advance.

Total wireless is not cheap... $60 a month. I would go with visible mobile $20 a month.

Thank you very much for the detailed explanation. The reason that I worry the phone might not unlock if I port out is TW might want my number to be with them for 60 days, with or without service. If that's the case, they have the ability to lock the phone if they find out you port out before 60 days. Anyway, my phone has been shipped today. Hopefully it arrives on Wednesday, which is my last date of service at Visible.
