So I originally went to my local Bestbuy to have them price match the popular deal that Walmart has on this TV of $699.99.

My Bestbuy showed one left in stock with none available for shipping. When I asked about the price match and showed him the Walmart website listing, he went away for a few minutes to confirm he actually had one in stock. When he came back, he said he could do even better since it was an "older" model and quoted me $390 which was an instabuy for me of course.
Please note, the tv is listed on BB's website with a $65 discount off the $1299 retail price as the clearance price, and my store showed one in stock so if you find a store with one in stock, there's a good chance they actually have one as BB to my knowledge, doesn't count display units in their inventory. Also, extreme YMMV and it will depend on the manager of the store. Seems like since this tv is older, they probably want to clear space since the newer models will be coming a little later. Needless to say, it was a no-brainer despite not having FALD and being a year older than some of the other tv's out there. You can't beat Sony processing for colors and motion IMO.
If nothing else, at least you may be able to find one and have them match the Walmart price and not have to rely on Walmart delivery if you have a means of transport.
Anyway, I attached my receipt so you can have that ammo too if you find one. Happy hunting!

Incidentally, I got it home in my wife's VW Atlas no problem and it's actually one of the smaller 75" boxes out there compared to Hisense or TCL's boxes.
