Anyone use this as a monitor?

I got the Alienware WQHD OLED for around the same price, but still within return window.
Yes, for two months now. I got used to the green color shift on the edges pretty quickly, coming from a 10 year old 50" tv that had a custom pcb integrated in the back to improve its monitor friendliness. I tried a couple other generations of OLED in the past, but they had more quirks than this one. I'm quite content with this now as an upgrade to the aging 50 I was using before.

A wall of workspace in front of you is still amazing, and I still prefer it over a 42" 16:9 size. You will use everything in windowed mode. I wish the pixel density was a bit higher (it's the same as a 24" 1080p), but what can you do. 8K at 50-60" will be too small, so here we are in the final useful resolutions and display sizes, without scaling.

Games are okay too, although I haven't played much on the PC for years. I went from a WQXGA 30-inch to a UHD 42, which I returned within a week and went with the 50. It took a week to get used to it, but nearly a decade later, it's hard to want to use anything smaller. Especially when it comes to CAD and such software. "Wall of workspace."

All that said, I'm 2-3ft away from the display from my sitting-forward, sitting-up, and sitting-back seating positions, and tv is wall mounted. Most of the time is sitting back into the support of my chair, around a 3-foot viewing distance. I do not need to turn my head to see any spot of the display. The green off-center hue is also not too bad at 3-feet.

Went to Best Buy last night to buy the one open box for $464, and it rang up for $417.

Got it hook up last night and it has 56 hours on it. Awesome TV especially considering I got 50% off

Been using a C1 for quite a while as a computer (gaming) monitor - this B4 is a bit better.

Yes, more details please. Otherwise, you are the only one doing the comparing. Anyways I didn't see that deal on C4's. Saw a $699 there several months ago, and an in warehouse YMMV $400 around that same time.ON this deal: Open box Exc. for $463 might work for me
There's an open box C4 for $601 on Best Buy's site

Just got mine today. Open Box Excellent Condition plus 5 year warranty for 563. Looks like they lost the remote and just threw one in. I got scared because it looked like a pretty rough remote. Turn the TV on to check hours and only has 1 hour on it. Nice deal!

Also received my Open Box: Excellent TV today. Tested great, looks great.
It did not include the screws for the legs and gave me a DisplayPort cable. Confused Mad
