JFG, Blue Plate, and Great Value are all extremely similar mayos. They are creamy with low acidity. Hellmann's is similar, but with a little more acidity. Kewpie is more rich than all of those. Duke's is more acidic than all of those. They are all good depending on what you are trying to achieve, but Great Value is a very comparable mayo to Blue Plate. This is from someone that has no sentimental value of putting one on sandwiches as a kid and has tasted them back to back.

$3.98 for the 30 oz at Walmart, $3.38 for Great Value 30 oz for comparison. Not bad for delivered but not screaming hot either.

One dead give away that someone is feeding you bullshit is someone declaring something as bad without knowing a mechanism for why it is harmful. In science, we have things called systematic reviews that look at all available evidence, and those actual analyses of the truth are still inconclusive on the recent hysteria surrounding seed oils, and again soybeans are not seeds anyway.
Real issue is glyphosate (round up) sprayed on soybeans and wheat in the US.

It's not the fact that it's "oil", it's the KIND of oil. For example I have a family member who for health reasons can only have mayo made with avocado. No soybean, no canola, no corn. Maybe you're not so clever, eh?

You know, I used to be concerned with soy isoflavones being estrogenic, but again instead of just relying on people that tell you something is bad without knowing the mechanism or results, we can look to science. No it still means you guys have trouble with comprehension. The person was questioning it being, "Real Mayonnaise?", because it contained a common mayonnaise oil. He wasn't questioning it being real mayonnaise due to concerns for your family member as you wrongly implied.

This is the only possibly intelligent issue raised so far. Luckily soybeans have a hull, but it seems likely there would be contamination even after hulling.
