Yes. Since it's Android. What you do is create a minor (<13 yrs old) Google account. Then add that account to your Google Family. Then login to that account when setting up this phone. From there you can manage screentime length and schedules, plus block or allow different apps. As long as you stick with Google Chrome as the only browser on the phone you can set what websites are allowed and the maturity level of search results. Some other Google apps also allow you to set maturity level allowed.

It takes some configuring, but I've had good experiences with using Google Family to manage my kids devices.

I've done the following several times without issue. Usually the chat portion is completed within 30 minutes. You won't have to do much more than provide validation that you're in possession of both phones (they'll send a text to each phone at points during the chat) and keep the conversation open (basically respond after each time they chat to you even if it's just "ok" to their "please continue to hold").

1. Go to the web to find the current minutes, messages, data, and days remaining on your permanent phone.
2. Activate your "donor" phone on the same account.
3. Go to the web to find the current minutes, messages, data, and days remaining on your new, donor phone.
4. Go to support.tracfone.com and scroll down to and click "Chat with Support".
5. Populate the message template below with details of your donor phone and permanent phone and share with the CSR.

Hello, I'd like to move the data, minutes, text, and remaining days FROM my line TO my line .

currently has ### minutes, ### messages, #.# GB data, ### days left which I'd like added to my line which currently has ### minutes, #### messages, #.# GB data, ## days left.

My account email address is:

The end result should be minutes, messages, GB data, days left.

Walmart appears to be for 1 phone with plan. This deal is for 2 phones with plans at $54.98 for existing customers, $39.98 for new customers.

Totally agree. This model is an out of date minimal spec phone & will be slow - at least the 24 model is on 14 and usable for the basics.
Lol, I'm tempted to get this one just to see how awful it is (harvesting the plans for other devices).

That said, I got the 2-pack Play 2024 last year so I'm good to 2026 on my 2 lines. I'll probably just wait until there are better phones on offer. I'm really hoping the Moto G Stylus 2024 5G makes its way to a QVC/HSN airtime bundle deal.

Got Stylus 24 2 months ago on a Straight Talk $99 deal (+ one month plan). TF was charging more than twice that. Will unlock this week & I'll activate on one of my TF lines. That's why I buy cheap phone deals too, I harvest service for my better phones.

You can activate 1st, wait a couple days then the second Moto G Play. Do not move the Moto SIM to your iPhone SE (it may affect your service). Buy a $1 TF BYOD SIM for your iPhone SE and do a proper transfer of service from the 2nd Moto (with 2 years of service and 3000 TTD). It's possible the Moto Gs will be eligible for unlock 60 days after activation (as long as you don't move the SIMs to any other phone).

Instead of the $1 BOYD SIM, can I just do eSIM for free? Or will that cause issues? Also: i have 3 months left on my current iPhone plan. Will there be an issue activating this deal in 3 months if i purchase now? Can I safely wait that long to activate?

eSIM is free, but be aware it's not always smooth. I had to get on chat to get one working on an iPhone 12 after it was supposedly successful online.

Lol, I was hoping to pay $80-100 including 1 year plan that's why I haven't gone for the Total Wireless, Straight Talk or Metro deals. Plus I think Total requires port-in and I don't have any numbers I want to transfer. Stick Out Tongue

I don't really need the Stylus 2024. It would just be a nice semi-free upgrade to my Moto G Stylus 5G 2021 if I can get it via airtime bundle deal. If not, the Moto G 5G will work just as well.

From the website:
"We currently support eSIM activations only with iPhones that allow the installation of an eSIM through a notification sent to your phone."

Unless something changed very recently they still aren't using esim with Androids.

Actually Samsung S24 and later also work since they can accept carrier pushed esims. Older Androids that need to scan QR codes to add esims cannot activate with TracFone.

you can check their support page and S24 shows esim support

By the time it gets to that price it will be out of date & at least a generation behind. It's smaller than the 21/22 versions & a more powerful phone with wifi charging.
Moto G 5G (with unlimited T/T/24GB data) was a good deal too.

p.s. If you wait a few days between transfers, the Moto G Play should be eligible for unlock.
So if I transfer my current Tracfone number to 1 of the Moto G's, wait a couple of days and then transfer the same number to the other Moto G, will both Moto G's unlock after 60 days?

i'm not a phone snob, still using a pixel 5a. but yes, this is a very slow phone. i got two of these awhile ago. i also got the 2024 version to harvest plan and the 2024 version is leaps and bounds snappier.
I'm getting it for a middle schooler to be able to phone me or text me when needed and out with friends. Also possibly take photos and play music on Sonos/on the car audio. It should last a couple of years and will get a real phone in high school.

Do you think it's too slow for the above?

Thanks - as usual they haven't updated all the website info (I copied it). You can always count on their inconsistent information. 😀
