More flexibility. Two packages, can be kept in two different places.

Open that 10oz package and it turns hard and is no longer usable and the whole thing is now garbage, versus this where you risk only one of these.

Probably more reasons but those are just two off the top of my head.

But yes, strictly by price per ounce, the 10oz is cheaper.

Edited to add: This is also less than half the cost of the other. Maybe you don't need 10oz. Why buy more than you need, even if it is cheaper per unit?

Hmmmm not sure why this is a good deal. 2oz x 2 = 4oz for $8.03. Amazon has the 10oz for $16.90, not on sale. The $16.90 is the better price.

I once used this to fix a puncture in a stainless steel sink basin.

If you prep the site of application properly which most fail to do, adhesive results are dramatically better.

I prepped it, carefully applied the adhesive, let it fully cure, and sanded it…worked perfect. Not a single drop ever leaked again, it was barley noticeable, and saved me around $250 on a new sink.

It's great stuff to have around. Bummer I missed the deal I was just wanting to buy some since I backed into a hardened snow mound the other day and cracked up my back bumper. I used it to repair my side mirror too.... isn't the prettiest repair, but my 2006 Civic don't care!

The JB well does harden over time once opened. So if you aren't heavy used of the stuff, you are better off buying the smaller packs and avoid having half the tubes go bad.
Are you sure? I have the syringe version of this exact epoxy and its still liquid and usable after 5+ years. In fact, I just repaired a wooden spatula yesterday. And we haven't exactly been diligent about capping it tightly. Aside from keeping it in a Ziploc bag, we don't take any special care in storing it.

This probably wouldn't be the best for repairing flexible items like a bumper. It dries hard and brittle, and would likely crack if your bumper bumped. You're probably better off getting something flexible, like liquid rubber.

Damn missed it. I have the syringe version of this and it has performed flawlessly for 5+ years. My biggest complaint about the syringe is the mess it makes. The two liquids often mix prematurely because there's no way to control the flow individually. These tubes would be so much better.
