This is for existing users on flexible or unlimited plus plan. Phone comes unlocked and ready to be used with any carrier, just make sure not put the FI SIM in any other phone until the 120 day counter in FI account reaches 0.

How do I get this if I'm not a google FI user?
Previously some saw this "existing user" upfront discount offers 21 days after opening the account. In a recent thread https://slickdeals.net/f/18046998-s24-ultra-unlocked-l-google-fi-existing-customers-120-days-of-service-required-info-on-s25-ultra-preorder-599 some saw the discount 48 hours after opening but I believe they did not click on it to see if they are actually eligible. So if you are planning to get S25U you can do a gamble for $25 or so by opening an account now (use referral code for $60 credit) and see if you are able to order by the end of the preorder period. Note that even after the preorder period ends FI will still have a discount albeit $50 less o it might still end up being a good discount.

yes both are active
So one possible way to get $750.

1. Open an account with referral.
2. Wait for the first bill in couple of days, maybe?
3. Do an order with 24 months credit and cancel it.
4. Keep checking for 24 hrs to see if $750 off deal shows up?

Do you know if they charge or put a hold on your card when we place the order. I already bought that was offered in my account. One other family member joined recently on a separate independent account and he did not get an offer. I would like to try this trick but don't want to get charged before I could cancel the order. Also, how soon you have to cancel the order after placing it. TIA.

1. They put a hold, gets charged when it ships.
2. You can cancel immediately.

Note this is YMMV though. I just limited the steps following which at least two accounts were able to order.

Ok, Thank You!!! will give a shot, if it works fine, otherwise Best Buy is the next best option.

We are not risking. We are talking about registering a new account then placing the order with a small discount/no-discount and canceling that order. Then wait for 24-48 hours so we don't have to lose anything. It popped up the discount that we are talking about. For my parent's account, it was $750. We did not play the gamble of a $650 discount and then cancel in anticipation of $750... We are Seasoned Sders... LOL
So you sign up a new account. Dont use a referral. Buy something and cancel. And pay 4 - 5 months plus tax on the new account to save $750 insted of $650?

I am on existing account with service that I am using so Id have to pay over more than $100 to set up a new account for 120 days - I have credit balance on the account I am using

Should I order the phone on my existing account with $650 discount (or $600 on Plus) and then cancel it ?

You can easily test this yourself I suppose, because you said you're not interested in the 650/600/500 deal that most people got. So you can order it and then cancel. At worst you just lose the current offer which you were not thrilled about.

Did the offer pop after you did order and cancel trick? It does seem like the porting a number put you in the "new user" mode. I guess you can open another account, do the order and cancel trick so that the promo ups and try activating the phone in that account but I don't know if that will work or not as the phone is ordered from your account.
no it was already there. Okay. Let me try that. Thank you for your tips

I think you get the $750 offer or you don't. The cancellation of order is for tricking FI to think you are an existing customer. Never hurts to try it though and see if you get $750 off.
