512 storage more important than a apu spec bump.

If you have the S24 ultra, you good. If you really need to have the latest and greatest, the Black Friday deals will probably be better. You may be able to even get full trade credit.
Might even come sooner if they don't see the sales in the next month or so

do these still come with all the carrier bloat? I've only been buying my phones direct to avoid all the bloat wear for android. Last time I checked, this was only a problem for android - iphones didn't seem to come with all the carrier modifications?

My total comes to 457ish with an s24 ultra trade in, not sure what I am missing, the price seems to be 1299 on my end for any color.
You get it for 1199 if you let them activate to a carrier

They are not showing my Pixel 9 Pro XL in the trade in list. Does anyone know how can I trade in a device that is not listed?

Just got my S24U from last week for $850. I am happy that S25U is not worth upgrading
It's never worth it year to year. Even every 2 or 3 years you'll barely notice any differences.

Seems to be you can't trade in a current device, iPhone 16 not listed either.

My BB checkout shows tax being charged on the phone but only shows $95 on the trade in. to be refunded, tax on that not showing... in my area, thats $96.90 What gives?

Oh please.. not $400 plus tax worth after trade-in.

Perhaps noticeable for possibly the most demanding game or slightly quicker if editing and outputting a 4k video. For most, won't be noticeable in majority of tasks from S24 Ultra.
$150 plus taxes technically after GC. But as AI gets better with on-device capabilities, it would require the fire power. Also you have the default Bixby vs Gemini debate!

I think it's just an error. It states in the last sentence that taxes will be refunded as well. So in your case $950+tax will be refunded to the original payment method.

Site offered $585 for my unlocked Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G 128GB trade for the unlocked S25 here. I wouldn't do it, but pleasantly surprised at what was offered (still not enough to trade though).
Honestly if I could turn back time to last year I would have kept my Note 20 Ultra. My S24 Ultra is cool, but I don't use my S Pen nearly as much as I used to on the 20. Not to mention I now have a 1 TB microSD card collecting dust on my desk because I can't use it in my new phone.

What's the best bet for a dinosaur like me wanting to upgrade my S21 ultra? Best buy doesn't seem like a great deal
For both BB and Samsung, you'll be getting $500 trade in value for it. Just the difference between double storage + $110-$150 in addon credit, or $200 BB gift card. So basically
BB: $800 + $200 gift card
Samsung: $800 + double storage + $110-$150 accessories/items

The biggest differentiator now is RAM. The top iPhone still has only 8GB. But Samsung has been stuck at 12GB for years now and it should be bumped up to 16GB to maintain their advantage.

Not long ago iphone pros had only 4GB and most flagship Androids had 8GB. Even the 14 Pro only had 6GB. But when apple made the 15 pro with 8GB, that was Samsungs cue to go with 16 to maintain the 100% lead in multitasking.
My Note 20 Ultra had 12 GB RAM. Samsung is resting on its laurels too much for my liking. Being an industry leader means you have to constantly improve and add value for consumers, especially with annual product releases. Samsung used to run circles around Apple to the point where the concept of owning an iPhone was laughable to me. Now it's not so funny. It's too close for comfort if I'm even considering a switch back to Apple when I've rocked Android since the Galaxy Note 2.
