Yes, it's a soft credit check. Just to confirm identity. And they look at your ID. That's when doing it in person
Thanks. Did you have your esim active in s25 when you requested an upgrade? Did Spectrum folks ask you about why you were upgrading or when you purchased the trade-in phone? Thanks.
I'd stick the SIM in another phone so it looks in their system like you have another phone you're using atm, and go in and do the same trade in process
No need for another line. I'm tempted to do the same myself with the unlocked Pixel 9 I have. Have the S25 from this deal and another crappy phone to trade in. Will stick SIM from the S25 I'm now using in to the Pixel 9 again, go in and trade in the crappy phone and upgrade from my Pixel 9. Pull SIM back to my now daily driver s25 after
In 60 days, stick SIM back into the other s25 and get it unlocked
You're sure this works?
No S25U at my store so im gonna wait few more days and check back again.

Anyone experienced this? Also, any suggestions to bypass "fraud alert" . They verified everything and system still not allowing it
Yes. Obviously give it a few days and don't do it like ten times
And report back when you do try. No harm no foul in trying - - except being banned, I guess. Take one for the team maybe. I will, next week. Lol
By the way, you did not need to wait for the trade-in to succeed before you upgrade on that same line. As long as you shipped in the correct device and activated the phone you received, you should be fine.
Which network works T-Mobile or Verizon?
Hearing that spectrum blocks certain bands causing it to not work with some carriers, just wanted to make sure I don't have a useless phone even after unlocking
