And of course this was an S25 I was trading in for an upgrade that is now lost in the abyss.... The Assurant portal stinks this year with the no updates. Last year it actually did update when shipped, when they received it, etc.

I tried reading through Spectrum's website, but couldn't find the answer. Do you know: If someone is on the "by the gig plan" are they limited to the amount of upgrades they can do through mail in? If not, it would seem like the "anytime upgrade" plan does not really have a benefit (besides the other perks).

I di not believe there are any limits on upgrading, no matter what plan you are on, but I could be wrong.

The upgrade anytime thing is just a perk of Spectrum.

Its pretty seemless. You take the barcode and the phone to them and they wrap and pack it in a box. That box seemed like it was made to hold phones. overall happy with the UPS drop off part, have to see how promptly assurant process the trade in

I gave two phones and barcodes to UPS on 2/13, delivered on 2/17, and got emails from Assurant on successful trade in for both phones today, 2/19. Seems to be much faster than USPS. Although their trade in website still shows "awaiting package".

Just your phone goes in the box? It's not some massive phone locker? That was my concern that a bunch of phones get bundled together and they don't get shipped until the thing is full

Well darn, wish I had gone that route. I dropped off at Usps on the 11th and it's lost in limbo in Texas.
