for those who sent in trade in device through UPS, so I packed up my trade in nicely and when I brought it to the UPS store, the agent said that they need to look at the phone after scan it and that they will pack it for me. they were saying they had a list of questions they had to go through such as is the device in good condition etc. anyone had same experience? i mean by trade in device was a cheapo but still wanted to check here
Yes they told me they wanted to see the phone without packaging as they need to answer questions on basic physical condition of the phone before packing.

thanks for confirming it. I put some effort to pack it up and then when they told me to open, I was quite surpirsed.

Super weird - after asking for the credit back onto my bank ATM/debit card, my bank immediately shows:SPECTRUM MOBILE Pending credit/return for $1,113.00 on card XXXBut it's settled and the amount was only for $1. It's not pending, that's just the description. Trying to figure out if I just wait to get it taken care of. Maybe it'll settle after a day or two.
Hello! How do I know whether I got the credit or not? Where to find that info? Thank you

Tell them you're upgrading on your line and trading in s25 because it's too small. Nothing else to mention. The esim will move to that device automatically once traded in. If you've got a real SIM in there, take it out

In all likelihood, if they were going to give you trouble, it'd be for the S25 to S25 plus thing, not because it's on same line or spectrum or anything

And if they do, just go to another store or try another day

Reps are just making up their own rules all high and mighty lately. You're not doing anything you can't do, and should insist politely. If no dice, move on
OK, I just got home a few minutes ago and here's an update:

Went to the Rancho Cucamonga, CA store first. Guy asked me a couple of questions when I asked him if they have the 25+ in stock (he didn't answer me right away), he wanted to know if I was upgrading a line or trading in and when I said I was trading in, he tells me "we're out of stock". Hmm, right... He claims he'll contact me if they get any in stock (I doubt he'll do that, he was just trying to get rid of me).

Then, on to the Ontario store in Ontario Mills - where I got the base 25 a couple of days ago. Same thing, guy asks me if I'm upgrading or trading - seeing a pattern here? I wasn't gonna lie (maybe I should have) and he went to the back room and came back out - nope, we are out of stock. Surrrrreee...

OK, I'm a glutton for punishment, so I went on to the Fontana store, three guys sitting around doing absolutely nothing when I walked in. Went to the first guy who called me, and this one insisted that he had to have my ID to tell me if they have the phone in stock. Right, so more shenanigans start. First he asked me if I'm upgrading or trading, I tell him I'm trading in a phone (I didn't tell him it was an S25). He looks at his screen more, seemed like he didn't react much when I told him about the trade in, then he asked me "what color do you want?" I asked "what colors do you have?" (Why would he ask that if he didn't have any, hmmm?) He hesitates and says tentatively - black, and blue. I said blue is fine, if you have it, if not, black is good too. Then he says, "you just got an S25" (now I knew, this is the real reason why he insisted on ID and looking up my account, so he could arbitrarily deny the trade in) and "are you trading that in?" I said yes - and he didn't say "I can't do that" or anything else at all. Goes to the back room, comes back empty handed, shrugs his shoulders and says "we're out of those, we have the S25 but no Plus or Ultras".

Now, I'm not stupid, it's quite obvious that he's lying and changed his mind about giving me one for whatever reasons. I would rather him just be honest (LOL, right?) and tell me up front "I'm not allowed to do that" or something similar (even though, as we all know, that isn't true either). Instead, he led me on and acted like he was going to get one for me and shattered my hopes. I was pissed, to say the least. Felt like calling him a liar and a few other choice things but didn't. I smiled, stayed pleasant and controlled myself but I wasn't happy at all after driving around all day to come up empty handed at the end.

For anyone else thinking about trying to get a trade in done in store, good luck. I think these guys are lying through their teeth and will stonewall and gaslight you. I don't know if something came down from HQ to shut down in-store trade-ins or what, but it's infuriating when they knowingly lie to customers. I may try one more time tomorrow at the last store in the area before giving up and either doing it online or just keeping the S25 and forgetting about upgrades. Interestingly, not one rep at any of the stores said I couldn't trade in the S25 for a Plus model. It was just "we don't have any, and don't know when we'll get more".

I hope my experience will help other SD'ers that are considering the in-store option. Maybe save yourself a lot of aggravation and just go online. Kudos to those that got lucky in the store and didn't have any problems doing this. I'm open to suggestions from others if you know of a way to get it done in store, but as we all know, the window of opportunity is closing soon on this deal.

Since he said he had S25, you should've just traded S25 for S25.

Hello.I'm sorry if this has been answered…I didn't have Spectrum port my number to my new S25. Can I do this online, by myself, or through customer service? What is the 60 day unlock tied to? Is it the phone, not the phone number, so it wouldn't matter if I port my number to it, or stick with theirs?
You can port later through Spectrum chat.

I absolutely hate the mailing/online process already. FedEx won't leave the package at the door or be able to reroute it due to restrictions spectrum puts on package, I already missed two delivery attempts. Today is the last one. They came at around 3 last couple times so I assumed it would be the same time today. I've been a prisoner at my place since 3pm and it's now almost 7pm. Still no delivery....
Did you get it?

Another dp for those doing online trades and having delays. I put in an s25 to s25+ order on the 18th and got the ID verification email. I did what it requested online, and thought I was good, but turns out upon chatting/calling they needed further verification. As soon as I verified my ID on the phone I immediately got email confirmations (and pending charges on my card) for the purchases.
So if you did the digital ID verification, and have since been stuck, try calling 866-359-0552 to confirm they don't need more ID verification from you.

This is great info. Thank you! I just did the ID verification and was thinking to call tomorrow. I will call this number to confirm.

I did some quick math based on getting 5 S25s on new lines and doing a couple of trades in.
If it all works out (hopefully!) I will get a S25 Ultra, S25+ and a regular S25 for free after selling off 2 extra S25s. Amazing deal!

I got the same vibe at the last store i went to two days ago--lady just straight up lied and said they don't have any in stock, it's a hot item, come back in 2 weeks. Right yeah come back when the promo is done
