note these are basically chrome fans, not brushed nickel due to the cheapness and lack of care for the authenticity of the finish. I'd get Hunter unit

Yea. Typically you pay less up front on the product. But long term, dc motor will be cheaper because of its efficiency and less electricity.

People kill me its 60 dollars. Not in the same league as Hunter.

The LED panel inside SHOULD be replaceable but I'm not speaking from experience.

Most of the name brand fans like Hunter or Westinghouse are AC. Nothing good that is $60 is a DC fan.

There's nothing really wrong with a AC motor fan. Also, someone said it would save you money in long run, maybe, cost difference might never pay off. Cheapest is about $250 at home Depot I think anyway
