Tmobile trade-in these days is useless. Go5G may get some benefits but if we can wait a little Samsung gives better price than TMobile. You will get it for less than $700 for Ultra without any trades unlocked.

24 months is better than 36 months other carries do now. However, I am absolutely sure I'll stay with them for 2 years when I have unlimited everything on 7 lines for $130/mo, not getting fleeced at all.

I would keep in mind that since the S23 series, Samsung deals haven't been as good. I kept track of S24U and even 2 weeks ago, it was on the FP of SD for ~$770.

In October 2024, there was a "popular" deal on SD for the regular S24 via Amazon and it was still $600:

The best deals on the Samsung website are for the Ultra and with EDU, so not everyone will qualify. The phone in OPs post is the regular S25.

Unless Samsung does something drastically different from the last 2 releases, I don't think the price will drop that much. It seems like they're trying more and more each year to be comparable to Apple in the US, which means keeping their prices at a "premium" level.

The days of upgrading at release for $100-$200 + freebies seem to be over, which is a huge bummer.

I have a S21 in perfect condition but the modem does not work anymore. Can do wifi calls and everything else but won't locate or connect to a tower. Anyone tried to trade in something like this before? They ask about the following conditions

Condition :
The device powers on and stays on
The front display is not cracked, chipped, or deeply scratched
There is no liquid damage or internal moisture
The device is not stolen property
Other criteria "
The device is paid off
Find My iPhone or Android Anti-Theft is disabled

I had to email the bbb. T-Mobile went above and beyond for my headache of a trade in. They paid off my pixel 8 and lower my bill too. I have 3 tablets line with 3 iPad 10th gen for $42 a month. Lol

Everytime I've done this, tmobile takes a couple months for bill credit to show up. Delaying the full payback.

I havent tried this in a couple years but always used to pay off early after a year (to trade in again) and still got the credits. The verbiage has changed though.

Im trying it again...I kust be crazy

Trying to convince myself to do it with my S21. Planning on staying with T-Mobile most likely. The deal "ended" on Samsung yesterday but looks like they continued it.

I am seeing reports of regular S25 series (not Ultra) getting extremely hot. I know phones in this deal are not arriving yet. Maybe someone already got the phone through other options and can share their experience?
