Love this game on my phone but console seems like an odd platform to play it on

PC is better as you can just play with mouse which is great for disabled folks with one hand looking for mouse only games.

PC also doesn't require much hardware either, as even my cheap under $200 laptop plays it fine too.

I have this on PS5 and it plays great. Once in a great while do you need to use the "mouse cursor" sort of control as you'd see in Destiny. This lets you select anything on the screen. But like I said it's rarely needed as the up, down, left, right controls work for 95% of the game just fine and goes very quick. I've got a lot of fun with this game so far and finally beat a run last night.

Yeah, there's no reason to buy this on a console. Get it on your phone. It's cheaper there, and more portable, with a better control scheme.

Thanks for this. My PlayStation Portal will finally get some use.

I just wish they let you link progress across devices.

Also recommend the Switch for this game if you have one. Touchscreen is supported but controller buttons also work well.

Just a warning for those poor eyesight: I got Balatro for my mom on her iPhone 16 Pro Max and she found the text to be too small and the game unplayable. Hopefully the devs add text sizing in a future update.

I played on xbox and it runs great. I would suggest using the directional pad instead of the thumbstick when playing.

Don't do it. Exercise instead. I've been a complete couch potato the past month since getting this. I bought it on my xbox and then bought it again for my switch. It got me through a 30 hour travel day (17 hours in the air). But, since then I have not put it down. Usually games are good for 1-2 hours and I get bored. I keep going back to balatro.
