I have it positioned above the door lock however it doesn't see the door mat. I purchased a case that has angle adjustment.
Compared to my Ring it seems slow to react so I'll pop in a usb on the sync module and not worry about live alerts.
Audio and video quality are decent and it comes with 2 batteries (supposed to last for 2 years)
Only got one because the neighborhood app keeps showing robberies, shootings and what appear to be near home invasions in the area. I feel like the doorbell will attract attention but time will tell and that's why you have insurance.
