google shopping search the model SKU# to get an accurate review

Resources I've found indicate it is NOT shuckable as most WD portable drives have the USB interface integrated into the drive assembly. A 5TB drive will also be thicker than a standard 2.5in HDD, so mounting it in a laptop or without a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter would prove problematic.

Not a modern day laptop but an old Alienware gaming laptop will fit it
