None...the spout is metal as is the mesh in it. The lid is metal covered by plastic.

Great kettle. I hate that the lid isn't removable but other than that it works really well with the touch functions. I also like how it will continue to heat it for 5-10 minutes.

How much plastic comes in contact with the hot water? I've been looking for a kettle for sometime now but most affordable ones have plastic mesh/ spout etc. I'd prefer metal/ glass only in contact with hot water

I bought one of these when they were a penny lower in October. I don't know how long-lasting it is, but the buttons make it easy to use. It is larger than my other "cordless" kettles are.

I was thinking about It for travel, but unsure about the 1500W power requirement

I recommend it! I have been using one every day for a couple years now. Inner container is stainless but outer wall is plastic I believe. For the price you cannot beat it!

Our van comes with a 1500W Inverter (Toyota Sienna), so I assume it should work fine. I read reviews of people using 1500W heaters in it for overnight camping.

$20 seems fair, can anyone confirm I can shut off the audible alert? Not cool with that.
Will be thrown out the window if it makes a peep.
