Unfortunately t mobile charges $30 extra on phones (apple sells ip16 for 800 and t mobile for 830.
T mobile also asked for $35 connection charge.
This extra $65 surcharge makes it less appealing ☹️

I currently have an iPhone 16, but wanted to upgrade to 16 Pro. I went to Metro and got an iPhone 13 for $75 by porting in a burner line. Then used that 13 as the trade with TMo.
For the 16 Pro, was ~$120 due today and I'll owe $170 paid across 24 months. Add the $75 for the 13 from Metro, and I'm in the hole for about $365. I'll then sell my unlocked iPhone 16 for at least $577 on Swappa.

I am with verizon and dont want to swicth or upgrade plan from Unlimited Welcome plane.
