Unfortunately t mobile charges $30 extra on phones (apple sells ip16 for 800 and t mobile for 830.
T mobile also asked for $35 connection charge.
This extra $65 surcharge makes it less appealing ☹️

Was prepared to make a 45-minute trip to the nearest Costco that has a T-Mo kiosk in order to be able to take the phones with me. Now I'm seeing that they don't stock phones, so I'm glad I didn't make that trip.
The $35 activation fee is waived, and offered $100 Costco cash card for the upgrade.
I'm on Magenta Max, and I didn't expect we would get top-tier offer again. So happy to see this, and it might be the last time MMax get this kind of offer.

Called my Costco rep, unwilling to do over the phone because they wanted to check for water damage and physically see the trade in phones. Need to make the 45 min drive
