I do love this kit, and the batteries work with my 10+ year old 10.8v Bosch angle driver that is still going strong and is one of my most used tools for my rentals.

I agree, I have two of these kits and I love them. In fact I have the original 12 volt Bosch screwdriver that I purchased in 2003, and the batteries work in all the tools. Highly recommend Bosch 12 volt in general and this one in particular.

Good price, but note that it's not brushless. In my experience, the 12v Bosch brushless drills are significantly better.

Returned the brushed and paid $8 more for the brushless version deal that came right after I bought the other one a year ago. I didn't know there was a fuel version until someone pointed it out. Glad you pointed it out and hopefully this will help others here.

Update: I meant to say brushless vs brushed and NOT fuel version.

What's "fuel" and "non-fuel"?

Milwaukee has a fuel line, this is Bosch.

You can't really change a tool between being an impact and a drill just with an adapter like this. They have a completely different drive mechanism and both have different things they are good at.

This one advertises 265 in-lb, and the brushless one advertises 300 in-lb. I expected a larger torque difference. There are also power usage and longevity differences...

I've found this brushed version to be quite robust and love it over the past 3 years. I've not had an opp to try brushless for comparison.

This is my go-to favorite tool. Light and compact and a surprising amount of torque. I jump on this if I didn't already have one

This brushed version is probably fine for most. The ergos are better imo vs the m12. The brushless Bosch version was $120 few months ago (as a kit). Milwaukee's m12 installation driver often goes on (hackable) deal for $125 (tool-only). Pick your poison.
