Did you receive a confirmation email? Are you using gmail? I checked spam and even added their domain to my contacts, didn't get a confirmation email and can't even verify my email address 😅

Simply impossible for keep the sealed box. You have to turn on the device, activate the service on the device or otherwise the unlock timer WILL NOT start.
With the SE3 deal they had a good while back, I was able to buy one and activate the SIM card and keep the iPhone unopened. I'm assuming with its being E-Sim only, You can't do it now huh?

Placed my order about 12h ago and still haven't gotten any emails from ST, never ordered anything from them in the past. I'm not even receiving email verification codes. But the order is marked as APPROVED in Transactions, and when I called I was told by the rep to just wait for the phone to arrive and to expect possible delays due to high demand.

It is still pending for me. I also bought as guest don't know if this could be a reason for delaying the email of confirmation.

Unless you have an iphone 12 or SE 3rd gen there should not be one thing appealing about this. Nothing new, it's just a stripped iphone with less capabilities. Zero benefits

Anyone checkout as guest and also haven't received their order confirmation email yet?
Make sure you have the order # and ready to spend time on the phone with them...

I didn't screenshot the order page assuming I would get an email confirmation...i didn't for 4 days...and the transaction posted to my credit card ..and I had to spend 40 mins on the phone trying get information about my order after 5 days without an confirmation email...I think they didn't push my order thru until I called. 2 days later I got the phone delivered...

ST email system is down. It's not sending any emails successfully. Not just order confirmations.

Even if you try to register or verify your account, it's not sending out any emails!!

Do not port, do not insert a different sim, do not use another esim. Leave the phone exactly the way it is until it is unlocked. After that you can do whatever you want, new sim, new esim or whatever you want.

Consider this your only WARNING!!!
Can you back up your warning with evidence?

If there a different non Qualcomm processor, do you think usim/vsim can be to use with different providers SIM card? These usim/vsim specifically unlock Qualcomm chips devices.

Please respond if you know
There no non qualcomm non processor no think sim provider device.

Mmwave is niche...you don't need it for social media and candy crush...what most users do.

Now if you're a content creator, okay. There's a reason. Average person will be fine. Plus this phone has a small battery, mmwave would kill it faster.

Oh, I agree. It's very niche. I have it in the next town over, so it's always fun to burn through 4-5gb of data sitting at a red light, but that's its only real use case here. They don't have any home internet gateways with it, it's not installed in any concert/sports venues here, just along some main roads and on a dozen or so tower sites, most of which are still backhaul limited to 2gbps... Not much better than C Band can do with 160Mhz.

This phone is absolutely not worth the $599 retail price, and nobody should pay that much for it, but for $360, it's a steal. I did the 13 deal with ST back at Black Friday where they came out around $260 after tax, but now I think I'll flip those and order two of these for my parents instead. Gets them off lightning cables, a better camera, better battery life, and they never used precision finding or magsafe charging/accessories.

The biggest question, is how bad is the new Apple modem going to be in fringe coverage areas compared to a Qualcomm.
