I used to work for an elected official, we used to get tons of constituents complaining about identity theft. Lyca stood out, as over 1/3rd experienced SIM swapping. Their customer service was no help, even with copies of police report, and letter from our office asking to look into this.

I cancelled with them and they charged me for two months extra. Thankfully, Amex refunded me but their customer service is horrendous. I would caution against signing up

I think Visible is the best bang for buck. Unlimited data, unlimited hot spot, Verizon network, $20 a month for me since I got a deal over the holidays, but regularly still $25

I can attest to this from personal experience. They gave me such a hard time when trying to port out the number. Porting in no problem, porting out a different story. Customer service is outsourced and unreachable most times. Stay away.
