Bumping it up from 25% to 40% by implementing some sort of ability to update a 'Google Tag' would make an android based tag much more feasible...
I honestly use my keys to find my phone much more frequently than the other way around, so it's been when more useful than anticipated. This is a great price for a single, though I have seen 4 packs for $15 each.
all Samsung with Android 11 and up.
not automatically opted in.
you have to install the Samsung Smart Things App.
you can opt out, but you lose the ability to track your own tags.

easily replaceable, ejection with a pin, exactly like ejection of sim card from phone.
the included CR2032 is a cheap chinese battery that died between 1 to 3 months.
only buy, Energizer CR2032 Lithium, going on +1 years now, and app still show GREEN.
I think I'll buy two of these and load all four, old and new, with new batteries that I ordered to have a competition. Maybe I can get more than a month out of the old ones.
[edit] Yikes, arriving in early to mid April. Plan ahead!
I see History under SmartThings App > Menu > History,
but my History is blank, "No history".
I checked SmartThings > Settings and SmartTag > Settings,
I do not have an option to turn on Save History, or anything options like that.
Was your History on by default?
Did you turned on some Settings some where?
would very much like to know.

I can see they have a Location History button,
but I do not see it on my app

For some reason, Best Buy has the Chipolo on clearance for $14, which is odd since it's a new product... I just grabbed two more!

My whole family has S24 devices.....
We all have Smart Things Enabled.
I'm not sure my kid has any of the keys registered.
My wife may have one set but not all like I do.

I open the app, it says not near me.
I pull up map and it has the history for today and I can change to other days.
There were 3 checking for my wife and two for my kid...both about 30 minute drives.

(2 Cars, 3 Drivers....We swap cars and keys a lot....so we are often hunting around the house in closets, clothes piles, etc... )

Any idea if I have to use Google find my device, or if I can track these via the chipolo app?
I believe the steps are:
Open the Settings app.
Go to Google (sometimes listed under 'Google Services' or similar).
Tap Find My Device.
Look for an option like 'Find your offline devices' or 'Use Find My Device,' and tap it to see your choices where I think you can opt-out. I seem to recall that it's on by default.

That led me to this article which answers everything pretty much. I appreciate it!
