I feel like this should be cheaper by now. I bought the more expensive solar version of the 955 back when it first came out in October of 2022 for $450, and that's still selling for $399. There's a 965 out now that's mostly better than this unless you don't like an AMOLED display.

I considered the AMOLED of the 965 and am going for the 955 for the MIP screen. I think it's just a preference issue. Yes, the AMOLED affects the battery life a bit, but my decision is based more on the AMOLED burn in potential, the difference in the glass shape, the way MIP looks in always on, and the flashing on/off of the AMOLED during non running use (I don't want something flashing a lot when I'm at work or doing other things). Should 955 watches be cheaper? Yeah, but so should all Garmin watches, especially the MIP ones 🤣

Or maybe it's because I bought it last week for $349.99 so my price won't change. Either way that is wrong

The 965 isn't mostly better. It's more or less the same watch with AMOLED. That's it. That's the big change.
