I have the same one mounted on the wall and powered on for last 4.5 yrs and don't think the new one with 252w would add value to the existing setup.

Not long ago they released a firmware which contained malicious malware on it. Once people found out they took it down.

I saw many of the charger review for charger support more than 150W
https://www.youtube.com/@AllThing...ace/videos

And main issue for charger that support more than 120W is overheat. We are talking about some of those 200W+ charger only last for 20mins before get to 200F degree and shortly after overheat and shutdown. So you can't really compare the potential of overheat of 60W charger vs 252W charger.

I guess at least for this charger, it is big so may have better Heat dissipation(?)

That design brings back memories. I had a giant 10 port Sabrent USB-A charging brick from over a decade ago. That thing was still kicking a year ago for charging things like bicycle flashlights and old MicroUSB tools in the garage. Gotta put it back into service when I find out what box I packed it in...

I'm STILL using mine, I think it's at least a decade old. With 3 kids, it's always always in use.

Several Sabrent 10-port 60W boxes have been in 24-365 use in our family since June 2015. They still work extremely well… boringly in fact

I have 60W Anker charger that run 24/7 for many years and it run fine and run relatively cool. But for my 150W Anker charger and other brand compact charger also using more than 100W, it run relatively hot. So, we can't compare high power charger with low power charger because most electronic will have shorter lifespan when running continuously in higher temperature.

If you only plug in few devices that use up to 60W for this charger, then probably will run relatively cool so doesn't matter. But need to do some research if you consistently using more than 150W when running charging all the devices and see if overheat can shorten this product lifespan or use close to 250W to cause it to overheat and shutdown within hours.
