What upgrades do I need to make to my pc for video editing/converting?

I'm looking to get into upscaling/converting some dvds to 1080p using some ai software and with my current setup I get an error message that my pc doesn't accept "gpu acceleration" and would be slow.

My question is what upgrades do I need to make to my pc more capable, more memory, a gpu or a new cpu? For reference I was using AVC Labs AI trial and it took 30 minutes to process a 30 second video to 4k. If possible I would like to keep my current cpu and add on where needed but if I needed to get a new cpu which one would be best suited for my needs? I was following the steps from this video [youtu.be]. Thanks

You are probably going to need more RAM I would reach out to the software vendor may times they work better with Nvidia or AMD. You might need more cooling for your case and possibly a bigger power supply.
You probably need a higher clock speed vs more cores but the vendor should be able to help you with that.

Thanks, so you're saying to reach out the ai vendor themselves to see which works better with their software?

Correct the software is usually biased to one GPU vendor just due to the cost.
