Best fifty bucks I ever spent, back in 2007.
Up there with the best value in gaming. Even in 2025.

Nothing below to do with the PC version (which is great), just adding to the conversation on PS3 Orange box.

I remember the buggy PS3 version of the orange box. I didn't have a PC back then so this is all I had.

In HL2, the audio would randomly mess up and turn into loud static. It would seemingly happen at random times. Saving and rebooting wouldn't help. You'd have to make your way to the next loading "area" in the game, then it would be fixed. Sometimes the Loading screen would never go away, locking up the PS3. Even holding the on/off button wouldn't do anything. You'd have to yank the power out of the back of the console.

In TF2, you would look up and see a maxed out turret ABOVE the skybox somehow, making it impossible to hit or get to. Spawn kill after spawn kill. Assuming those bugs never got patched.

Portal was fine though. Do not remember any issues with that.

Again, PC version is the bees knees and easily worth the price.

I never opened my PS3 copy of the Orange box. Guess I didn't miss much.
