PSA: Be careful if you're scheduled to pickup on Friday. The activation timer may starts on Friday but the CS aren't availble on weekends, which means you only have whatever hours left on Friday to attempt cancelling the line.

Nothing to add about this deal, but I got this phone a couple months ago and I have to say it's the best phone I've ever used. My wife got a Iphone 16 pro max and the camera on the Pixel 9 pro XL puts it to shame - especially when zoomed in. And the battery is usually around 40% when I go to bed at night after heavy use all day.

So if you're on the fence about this phone, don't be - you'll love it!

If my partner has ATT (I have TMobile), can I activate with ATT under their number and then just swap the sim cards at home? I don't mind eating the $35 activation fee, still a great deal.

Hmm, it says for trade-in you have to pick up in store and turn in your phone then.
Can you
  1. Pickup new phone
  2. Cancel ATT
  3. Transfer everything to new phone
  4. Wipe old phone and trade in?
or will they want to take your old phone before they give you the new one?

Order placed online for pick up and used AT&T as it seems they do a soft credit check. Used Google voice number to port (had to pay $3 to google to unlock the number to port out). Also trading in a Pixel 7. With taxes, it all came out to $118 for the phone.

Waiting on the phone to be ready for pick up, but my question is, can I call AT&T right after the pick up and cancel the line and waive the activation fee?

When I try to trade in my iPhone 13, it gives me a value of $400
and it says I cannot get the Pixel 9 XL 128 since it is a 399 value.

Would this work in store or any other way to get around this?

Bay Area has the porcelain. I had to switch VZ to order and porcelain because I forgot to lift freeze and ATT kept failing. I hope VZ is easy to cancel an refund activation. Anyone know?

So to do trade in new service with Verizon I must go to store and I suppose just pick cheapest monthly plan to start and then after leaving store create verizon account and then cancel Verizon service and keep unlocked phone.

If you have ATT you just order the phone with your existing account, no need to create one but you will be charged $35. This deal is a bit different than one plus as the old one needed a new line or account. If you want to avoid activation fee, add a new line and cancel

In store they should give you the difference in gift cards. Or, you may try picking up 256GB

Got the deal. Total was $26 after trading in iPhone 13 from metro deal. so total was $100 for 256 pixel 9 pro xl. not bad
