to cancel, call and give them reason like poor service etc. they will cancel it. you will still get billed so you would have to call them again after a week or two once final bill have been generated to get waiver of those charges.

I used a Google voice number to port out when purchasing online.
When I go into the store to pick-up this phone and trade in my old one... What does that look like?
