PSA: Be careful if you're scheduled to pickup on Friday. The activation timer may starts on Friday but the CS aren't availble on weekends, which means you only have whatever hours left on Friday to attempt cancelling the line.

Nothing to add about this deal, but I got this phone a couple months ago and I have to say it's the best phone I've ever used. My wife got a Iphone 16 pro max and the camera on the Pixel 9 pro XL puts it to shame - especially when zoomed in. And the battery is usually around 40% when I go to bed at night after heavy use all day.

So if you're on the fence about this phone, don't be - you'll love it!

Traded in an iPhone 12 64GB and set up a new Verizon account
Got the phone for $79 + tax = $85

Set up my Verizon online account

Looks like they have a disconnect page where you can cancel there. Any issues doing that instead of calling in?
Just answered my own question. Online disconnect will wait until the end of the billing cycle to disconnect. I guess I'll call them tomorrow.

Anyone got a message from AT&T - "There is an issue transferring your number, since the Account/PIN are incorrect".

When ordering at bestbuy they only asked for Account number. They did NOT ask for Account PIN. How to fix this?

Also will the AT&T line be only cancelled after the number is fully ported? It seems at Sunday their offices and chat are all closed. So no way to communicate with them.
My port-out went well so far, line already shows as canceled on att and showing "request sent" on the other end.

There are plans listing, No Plan, Yearly and Monthly. Should a plan be selected such as monthly to get a low price?

I'm on the fence honestly, only 200 profit and don't know what Verizon will do, a bit of a hassle.

can't trade in iPhone 13 in good condition anymore, value is $400 so it says "We can't accept your trade-in because its value exceeds the price of your new device". can select fair condition for $350 value though.

Think I'll pass and wait for the 9 pro

Also don't trust verizon at all with their ways.

If you port out number within 3 days, is the activation still waived or you'll be charged the full month?
How did you price match it with the iPhone 13 (from Metro) trade-in being over $399? It says I can't trade it in because it's value is greater than $399 ($400 -_-"). Did you go in the store?

Bought one and picked it up today (Sunday 256GB model)

Notes:
- It is new in box. Picked up at Best Buy - Washington Square location in Indianapolis.
- An AT&T SIM Card is taped to the box. I'm assuming the card is activated, but I'm not opening the box until I have a case, if I can avoid doing so (looking at cases on Amazon).
- They did not port my number automatically, as evidenced by the fact the number I gave them is still working in my old phone, and my provider (Spectrum) didn't send any port notices.
- Registered with AT&T, but I can't figure out how to cancel online and chat/phone is closed 'til Monday. If anyone knows the best way to cancel, let me know. The 3-day clock is probably ticking.

Can I purchase this phone at this price then call the provider to cancel the service?
Will Best Buy charge me full price because of that?

256 gb sold out for store and online in SF Bay Area.
Same in the entire northeast. I don't want 128gb in 2025. Don't know why Google wouldn't stock more 256gb with best buy. Suppose it's one of the reasons for the sale... Likely too many 128gb units.
