Just a heads up: this thing WILL break. It's not a matter of if but when. It will stop dispensing flavoring on one or both sides with no way to clean/descale or fix. Check reddit for more info

Source: I'm on my third RMA of this thing. Would never buy it again unless there's a big fix to the way the flavor is dispensed.

Nice deal.

This is the old model. New model is out.
Old model with known defects

Even the new model has issues

Out of Ninja's lineup of Creami, Thirsti, and Slushi this is probably the worst performing device with the most issues thus the deep discounts everywhere

Is it plug and play or do I need to install a direct water line or anything like that?

u just change the CO2 tanks, buy flavors, and refill the water reservoir.

if you want a sodastream on the cheap check your local goodwill. I saw like half a dozen at mine for ~$10 apiece

Have this and love it. But I just use it to carbonate since the pods don't last long and are expensive. I use sodastream flavorings and just pour it in the carbonated water. So not much difference than an actual sodastream for my use.

I actually need soda. My metabolism is so fast I need the sugar from somewhere. Having a soda is the simplest solution to getting some sugar in me quickly.
Why not fat for high calories? Fat without carbs and sugar seems to be peak health looking at the bloodwork from those that commit.

Has anyone converted these to using a larger tank? I got a big co2 tank with a soda bottle adapter, but that's annoying enough that I never use it. This would be way more convenient, as long as I can use my giant tank and not have to use their dinky ones
