I used my ID once and it never let me use it again for another deal, it seems the ID quota is only one.

Reps to who can tell me the best way to get a new phone number to port in for this deal.

I don't plan on using the phone for actual cell service, so unlocking is not necessary. I just want a decent android device to use. Thanks in advance!

Update: I ordered a number for $5 from numberbarn, enabled SMS on it, then was able to port it to order this Motorola Edge for free + $55 the plan. Thanks FabulousStranger526!

and one of many reasons to go with the better Samsung A35.
I wouldn't even consider ANY A-series Samsung over the Edge.

I ran GeekBench version 6 on the phones that I have/had. I have both the Moto Edge 2024 and Samsung A35 (and others marked with X). The CPU scores of the Edge and A35 are close enough, but the A35 has much higher graphic score than the Edge. So for game players who want higher frame rates, the A35 is the better choice. (If your browser doesn't show the full image, right click on the image then Open Image In New Tab).

Well, I don't care about that at all. The most important difference to me is the USB-C 3.1, which you will need to get an S-series Galaxy. No A-series has it.

https://www.tfwunlockpolicy.com/ . It's the same site for all sub-brands in the Tracfone family of companies.
Thank you. When I enter the serial number at this site, I get the information you have entered in INVALID. I've tried multiple times, but the same result.

The phone was activated 65 days ago. Do you know if there is a manual step to unlock the Edge 2024? I know in the Moto Stylus 2022/2023 phones, you had to manually click on permanent unlock. Is there a setting like that in Edge 2024 or will it unlock automatically?

Try entering the phone's IMEI number instead.

For my TW Edge 2024, it's in Settings-->About Phone-->Device Details-->scroll down to the end-->Network Lock. Connect the phone to Wifi, wait up to 5 minutes and see if it changes from Locked to Unlocked by itself. If not, touch Network Lock and see if it changes.
If the tfwunlockpolicy.com says it's Eligble after you entered its IMEI and the phone still says Locked, call the Unlock Dept and they will create an "escalation ticket". Usually the phone is unlocked within 24 hrs after that.

At this point I'm just going to get the 13T. This phone gets warm doing basic things like browsing or using Twitter. My Stylus doesn't do that. Battery is underwhelming, despite 5k.

I called the unlock deparment and the rep told me it needs 60 days of paid service.
I tried to tell him that the policy was different when the phone was activated in February, but he didn't agree.
It's just pretty annoying to have to pay another month.

Yeah, the way TW/TF/ST/etc apply the new policy retroactively on phones activated prior to the change date of April 1st is borderline illegal in business contracts/terms. It'd be great if some lawyers file a class-action suit and nail them for millions of dollars in settlement.

My phone is supposed to be unlocked tomorrow, the 26th. It's still not unlocked.

Last year my stylus 2024 was automatically unlocked after 59 days

I'll try inserting a Mint Mobile SIM card on Sunday and if that doesn't work

I'll have to ask Total Wireless for a $10 plan.

If you activate in February or March and it doesn't unlock, Total Wireless recommends a $10 plan that only allows calls and texts, but no data. You can request that plan.

Do you know if the line needs to expire before it can be reactivated with a $10 plan? or the current $50 plan can be changed to a $10 plan before the line expires?
