I used my ID once and it never let me use it again for another deal, it seems the ID quota is only one.

Reps to who can tell me the best way to get a new phone number to port in for this deal.

I don't plan on using the phone for actual cell service, so unlocking is not necessary. I just want a decent android device to use. Thanks in advance!

Update: I ordered a number for $5 from numberbarn, enabled SMS on it, then was able to port it to order this Motorola Edge for free + $55 the plan. Thanks FabulousStranger526!

Does the unlock policy require the 60-day paid service to be continuous? I assume the $10 plan will be added with a different phone number because the previous number was lost due to failing to renew after the initial 30-day of service. That is, can the phone be unlocked with two separate 30-day services linking to two different numbers?
Thanks!

TW keeps the phone number around for a while. Their web site says "reactivate within 90 days to keep the phone number". But unlocking is mainly based on the phone's IMEI. They will ask for the phone number as well if the line is still active though.

So, for unlocking, is it safe to leave a gap between the two separate 30-day plans?

There are people in the TF sub-forum of Howard Forums who reactivated their phones after a service lapse and got them unlocked. Based on that, I'm going to let my 4 lines expired separately (one did on 4/29, last one will be on 5/9) and reactivate them on the same day. I don't want to contact TW C.S. 4 times to ask for the $10 plan.

I have a edge 2024 and uses a P SIM card. I have to wait a month to unlock it, but if I use Visible as an ESIM before that, doesn't that violate the Total Wireless unlock policy?
I can use it without any problems when I put in a Visible SIM card, so I think ESIM will work too, but I'm worried that Total Wireless will find this a problem and won't unlock it.

----------

I just transferred Visible to Edge 2024 eSIM and will use it as a dual SIM.

Visible says that I can use Edge 2024 esim imei number.

I logged into Total Wireless and there is nothing related to eSIM or Visible.

I hope it gets unlocked in a month.

I think I was offered 5$ off if I refill my account so I did change into a 10$ plant last day before old expired and my total was 6$ after taxes.

Does anyone know how to force 5ghz over 6ghz wifi? My moto edge 2024 always forces 6ghz which in my case, has horrible range even compared to 5ghz.

My router has no 6ghz capability so I'm just guessing here. If your router has a separate ID for the 6ghz band then on your Edge just set it to ignore that ID.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately my ISP router doesn't have that option.

It's just that my moto g play can seamlessly switch to 5 to 2.4ghz while my Moto edge is stuck to 6ghz

Can I ask rep to change my 2nd month plan to $10 if my phone was activated in April?

I had another line that is still active, the rep added the $10 plan as a reserve plan for it, so I can go in and redeem it once the first month plan is done.

Make sure you ask for the 30 day Unlimited Talk and Text (with no data) for $10. There is another $10 plan, but it is only for 7 days because it comes with 5GB of data.
