I was just at my local Home Depot and saw at least 7 in the tool coral for $70.
I was extra lucky today while looking at it a manager or supervise saw me and said " $60 bucks and it's yours"… I countered with $50 and he said $55.
I was all set to buy it at $70, but for $55 I wish I grabbed another.
This was the Hempstead, NY store, #1274

That's a great deal for $70. I'd buy a second one in a heartbeat if I came across that price. One for inside, one for getting greasy and oily in the garage.

yeah same over here in Philly region. I'm a little leery as well after all the reviews about manufacturing defects (open-end jaws being inconsistent and chrome application problems). A bad tool has negative value as it can round a fastener and make life way harder than it needs to be.

Interesting that the Slickdeals price tracker says this has been $99 for months

I noticed there's a lot of skips and missing sockets here. Any tips on rounding it out? Wait for a better set eventually? Or buy individuals?

The Dewalt deals around summer & Christmas are legit. Skips are da devil, cause you dont need a socket, until your 3 hours in on alternator or engine job & find out you need dat size that's not included 🤣

Yes this was the holiday/BF bundle..can confirm the regular price was $99 from late October until they started pulling holiday displays
