Home Depot tricked me with their battery deals. Now I'm stuck using Ryobi for the rest of my life. One of my greatest fears is dying suddenly and having guys laugh at my Ryobi tools at the estate sale.

You mean pre pandemic prices?
No i got them after the pandemic. Before 2024. And once they changed it I never got these lol I'm happy I got plenty. I'm also on the Milwaukee and ridgid line and so far getting greats deals there too. I got 2 4ah high output ridgid batteries for 34 last year. And a couple months ago got the high out out 5.0 with 2 3ah batteries for a good deal as well lol. So far ryobi is getting pricier and Milwaukee still sells their 2 ah with charger and free tool for 199 and hasn't changed every black friday.

Did it show the "in store clearance price" label on the online store page before you went to the store to purchase?

Just bought two at the South Plainfield New Jersey home depot. They had like 20 more available. I think it was the end cap for aisle 29.

It's amazing that comments against companies raising their price for whatever reason is met with boos and thumbs down.
